Privacy policy
NOVAWORKORDER is offered by NOVA Desarrollos ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through novaworkorder.com and our work order app (app.novaworkorder.com), what we use it for, who we share it with and the choices you have. NOVA Desarrollos is based in Colombia, so we also follow Colombian data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012). The Spanish version of this policy covers all of our products in full detail; if the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.

2. What we collect

The site counts visits and clicks on "Start free" per day, by source (for example LinkedIn or Google) and device type, without storing your IP or anything that identifies you. |
3. How we use it
- To answer your request, create your account and provide the service.
- To let each company manage its work orders, customers and technicians.
- To send invoices, payment reminders and, if an invoice isn't paid, pause the account as described in the terms.
- To give support, tell you about important changes and keep the service secure.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
4. Your customers' data
The data a company enters about its own customers and workers belongs to that company. The company decides how it is used and we process it only to provide the service, following its instructions (as a "service provider" or "processor"). Requests about that data should go first to the company; if they reach us, we forward them.
5. The chat on this site
The "GABY · Sales" chat is an artificial intelligence assistant that answers questions about NOVAWORKORDER. What you type is sent, only to generate the answer, to an AI model provider through OpenRouter. We don't store the conversation on our servers: it stays in your browser tab and is deleted when you close it; we only count how many conversations happen per day. If you then fill in the "Start free" form, your chat questions travel with your request so we know what you're interested in. Don't type passwords, payment details or sensitive information in the chat.
6. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to operate, under confidentiality: our server provider (Vultr), our domain provider (GoDaddy), PayPal for payments, the email and messaging services we use to contact you, and the AI providers mentioned above. Some of them are located in the United States or other countries. We'll also disclose data to an authority that legally requires it.
7. How long we keep it
- Trial and demo requests: up to 2 years, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
- Account data: while the subscription is active. If it is canceled or paused for non-payment, we keep it 90 days so you can come back or ask for a copy; then we delete it. Daily backups delete themselves after 14 days.
- Billing records: as long as accounting and tax law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, ask how we use it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing contacto@novaworkorder.com. We answer within 10 business days. We don't discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. If you live in a US state with its own privacy law (for example California), you have the rights that law gives you, and you can use the same email to exercise them.
Every email we send about NOVAWORKORDER includes a way to stop receiving them.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, isolation of each company's data, login attempt limits, role-based permissions and daily backups. No system is perfect: if an incident affects your data, we'll tell you and report it to the authorities when required.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or minors in general).
11. Changes
If we change this policy we'll publish the new version here with its date and, if the change is important, we'll tell the users of our app.
